Once the upper part of the belt is finished, crocodile or other reptile skin, it is necessary to pass on to the next step in the realization of the belt. The strip that forms the upper part of the belt is stuck to other 4 layers: the first three that form the body of the belt act as a reinforcement, and at the same time maintains its form. The fourth layer is the lining, that after being levelled and smoothed on the sides, in order to create a difference of level for aesthetic purposes and to protect the stitching giving an extra reinforcement, makes the inner part of the belt.

1 - Top layer
2 - Reinforcement material
3 - Anti-deforming material
4 - Insulating material
5 - Lining

Each lining is made from bovine skin with final touches in nabouk, even in this case, the skin chosen is always guaranteed and of good quality. The bovine skin with final touches in nabouk that we use, is a first grade skin, that in professional jargon is called "full bloom".

Naturally not all skins can be classified as such, only previously selected skins can corrispond to these standards. They must be without pigmentations or any other colouring to camouflage any defects, therefore free from imperfections and beautifully worked.

It is precisely this type of skin that can guarantee a soft and velvety lining, of a natural colour, apart from assuring a pleasant touch, and has no problem in the long run of fading. Finally careful stitching assures that all the layers that make the belt are held firmly.
At this point the belt is ready for the finishing of the edges.
